LEGAL ASSISTANT I (Contract of Service)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job (BS Legal Management, AB Paralegal Studies, AB Political Science and other allied courses)

Experience: 1 year

Eligibility: CS Professional/ Second Level Eligiblity

Technical Competency/ Other Skills Required: Basic knowledge on legal terminologies and drafting of legal documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Attorney IV and/or Corporate Secretary in the maintenance and management of legal documents;
  • Assist the Attorney IV and/or Corporate Secretary in minor administrative tasks;
  • Assist the Attorney IV and/or Corporate Secretary in conducting legal research and draft documents of various legal disciplines;
  • Preparation of Board Materials such as Notice of the Meeting, Minutes of the Meeting, Board Memorandum, and Board Resolutions;
  • Assist the Attorney IV and/or Corporate Secretary in the facilitation of Board meetings;
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by the Attorney IV and/or Corporate Secretary.

PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: NPF Manila – Office of the Executive Director

SALARY/JOB/PAY GRADE: 10 (Php 20,194.65)

CONTRACT DURATION: August 1 to December 31, 2021.

HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT (Contract of Service)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BS Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or any bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.

Experience: 1 year

Eligibility: Preferred but not required

Training: At least 4 hours relevant training

Technical Competency/ Other Skills Required: Has good functional/technical and communication skills, detail-oriented, has the ability to maintain professional working relationships, and ability to articulate values to new employees; Knowledgeable on end-to-end recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding, and other HR Actions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the HRMO in the Recruitment, Selection, and Placement for Plantilla Position;
  • In-charge of the recruitment process for various JO/COS/Tech COS positions requested by different units;
  • Coordinates with NPF units on the requests for hiring, hiring publication, interview schedules, etc.
  • Conducts initial screening of applicants, including initial interviews.
  • Schedules initial and technical assessment and coordinates with applicants.
  • Ensures proper documentation of applicant’s requirements, and ensures completeness prior to endorsing for the creation of 201File.
  • Handles the on-boarding and off-boarding of applications, from conducting orientation, endorsing of applicants to requesting units, to processing of exit documents;
  • Assists in the preparation of contracts and facilitation of signing;
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the HRMO in the policy formulations in line with issuances from other government agencies (CSC, DBM, COA, DOT, etc.);
  • Ensures implementation of the formulated policy;
  • In-charge of employees Daily Time Records (DTR) but not limited to daily monitoring and timekeeping; and generation, distribution, and compilation of DTRs;
  • Prepares report of attendance on current payroll period for submission to Accounting Finance Unit;
  • Ensures that absences, tardiness, and undertimes of regular employees are being reflected in the leave cards;
  • Ensures timely distribution of pay slips to employees;
  • Assists the HRMO in the generation of premium contributions of Regular employees and ensures that payments are being made by the AFU;
  • Liaise with other government agencies such as the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) for HR-related matters;
  • Performs other related tasks that nay be assigned from time to time.
